Accurate, Easy to Use, and Great for Tracking
This thermometer is very easy to use and gives clear, precise readings quickly. The 60-second measurement is convenient, especially when using it daily for tracking. The display is simple to read, and the last memory recall feature is really helpful for keeping track of previous temperatures. It feels well-made and reliable, and the precision to 1/100th degree makes it ideal for fertility and ovulation tracking. Overall, a very practical and dependable thermometer.

Nice but there are oddities and slow results
This basal body thermometer is really nice looking! And I like the flexibility of the probe portion. But… It’s a thermometer, and it is pretty astounding how long it takes to get results each time I use it. first I tried oral, and I mean it really took a while like probably more than 2 minutes or so… Long enough for me to swallow regroup think about it etc etc without ever removing it from under the tongue and patience grew thin. So later I tried it under my arm… Again it took a while but a little less time. I was thinking given where this is designed to actually be used most (vaginal) That time lapse of impatience would be multifold in the position required to use it there. It does talk to you, So it tells you when it’s turned on, and it tells you to start measuring the temperature, and then it tells you verbally what the temperature was after it has completed it. And it has a pretty good digital layout That is clear and easy to read.It was when I looked at the box and/ or instructions that I saw it included two batteries… There definitely was not a spare battery, I went digging through the packaging thinking I must have missed it… Then I decided to pop off the back and see if two were installed in the compartment that obviously takes the coin style batteries. Well! In order to get the battery cover off you literally have to have a pick tool or paper clip or something small… You can’t do it with your fingers for sure, and you can’t do it with a tiny straight edge screwdriver either. So I found that odd too. Once I got The battery cover off it’s true there are two batteries required to run it, and both were installed.Interestingly, I got the same reading for temperature under the tongue as I did under the arm – and I truly thought those two things should have read different temperatures 🤷🏼♀️When you turn it off and then turn it back on it does have memory of the last temperature taken. So… I like having a thermometer that I can read better than the old school Mercury/ glass kind for sure, But this is pretty expensive and I think I would like a quick accurate reading more than I like the voice telling me when to take the temperature, and what the temperature is…in addition to the good visual indicator. I think we’re paying a lot for that voice/audio indicator and I think that voice is why it requires an extra coin battery as well.

Low battery when it’s brand new.. is it used? EW.
I bought this like a day or so ago, it came in the expected time frame, but, unfortunately was not able to test it because it’s low on battery?? Brand you with the little plastic “protection” inside the battery compartment and everything… now I question whether it’s new or not… gross, this is a basal thermometer…

Nice flexible, tip, and big display
I got this because I wanted to have an accurate thermometer. I’m not sure how it works so different than other thermometers, but I will say that the flexible tip is definitely a win. It makes it easy to put underneath the arm of a small child or even in the mouth. This is the kind of recommended thermometer if you are charting your cycle to get that first read in the morning, to know if you’re fertile or not. It has a nice big display so there are lots of wins here with this product. It’s literally advertised to take one minute and that does seem like quite a long time with young children, so I do recommend it more for fertility cycles and adults. Like I said, I like the flexible tip with the kids, but I found that the 60 seconds was a little long if they’re squirmy and not feeling well. Just some thoughts on good use of the product. Love having the accuracy of actual temperature! One more tip, though would be confusing for actual basal body temperature you have to take in the morning when you haven’t really moved yet, no matter what you use. Lol.

Listing is completely misleading
Overall I like this thermometer. The voice feature is really neat, and I like its ability to recall the last recorded temperature. Unfortunately the listing claims are incorrect. This is not a 60 second thermometer, it’s a 90 second one. The instruction booklet is clear on that. Also, while there is the ability to change the voice language to Spanish, the instruction booklet is only in English. It says, “Default language voice of this thermometer is English when you insert batteries into thermometer. if you want to set it to Spanish, you can follow above instruction.” And yet there are no Spanish instructions, so hopefully anyone who buys this is already bilingual. The battery cover is also a bit difficult to pry off without long fingernails or a small tool. Finally, cleaning instructions are unclear. The listing says safe to clean with alcohol, but the instruction booklet says not to.Price at time of review: $29.99, on sale for $24.99, with coupon available at checkout for $19.99
