With the thermometer off, press and hold the SET button for 5 seconds until the buzzer beeps, then press the SET button briefly to change units.

Unreliable.
Never measures my temperature above 97.6 degrees and stops measuring within seconds, way too fast. If I press it again while still in my mouth it eventually hits 98.0 which is still too low. No way to calibrate it either. Normally my temperature is about 98.8. I’m finding that most digital thermometers are horrific if your temperature reading is really important.
