Review from a K-12 (ADHD) teacher who has been helped greatly by this “The Anti-Planner”
I have a Master’s Degree in Library Science as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I have ADHD, which makes me incredible at “attention to detail” when I am focused. With my research background, I have studied many techniques and tricks for kids and adults. While I will admit the Pomodoro Time Management technique got me through grad school (with a 4.0 GPA) this book is great because it goes off how you are feeling EMOTIONALLY. (The colored tabs are different chapters according to your feelings (RIGHT NOW) like: STUCK, OVERWHELMED, UNMOTIVATED, DISORGANIZED, DISCOURAGED) and offer incredibly creative ways to help you get out of that rut and give you a NEW ROUTINE! (I found out about this incredible book through the ADHD toolkit in Dec 2025 and it has changed my life for the better. I bought two copies-one for myself and a friend’s daughter who is 20). This book was written, designed and illustrated by Dani Donovan who is a comic book illustrator so your creative side will love the illustrations and fun coloring activities when you make progress. As an educator of course I have taught kids with ADHD, ADD as well as I know the Play Station Generation who are now adults have a hard time dealing with ADHD as an adult. I highly recommend this book for ADHD kids 8 years and older, middle school, high school and creative adults/spouses/parents who need more than a checklist. From the words of the author “Your worth is not measured in productivity” and “GET STUFF DONE WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL LIKE IT”. So quit overthinking and help yourself/your kids/your students get solutions today!

    Best tool for ADHD!
The best tool I have found for my ADHD , hands down. This isnt a planner .. its the opposite. It’s a place to brain dump and figure out how to be productive with how you are feeling AND your given the skills / ideas to complete whatever it is you need to. There are various games / activities to do to help. One of my favorites is setting the timer for 15 mins and doing one task then when the timer goes off you can stop it and keep going or move on to something else. Also writing down what you need done and making an est time frame ( ex : 20 mins for the kitchen to be cleaned) and trying to complete your task , then writing down how long it takes. It encourages you to stay on task and want to beat your time. There are different sections per emotions and based on what youre feeling theres many different ideas / skills you can do.This has helped me so much! Great quality and most definitely worth the price. It isnt cheaply made at all and its pretty thick!Would buy this over and over again. Hope they come out with more versions 😊

    Absolutely love it!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The visuals, the ideas (a little overwhelming at first because there is so much!!) but it’s great how you can find exactly what you are struggling with at that moment/day and then go to it and get some creative solutions. Just the type of thing us ADHD people need. And it helps me get ideas for my teen clients too.

    Motivated Students
I love that it helps motivate me to complete some of my least desired tasks. This book is also useful for my students when they’re doing independent assignments. It’s a keeper!

Weird smell and poor binding ….
The content is great! Well organized ! But 2 big concerns:1) It came with a weird smell.2) The entire back cover came uncoiled just when I was turning the pages to a chapter that I thought could be useful to me. I can’t coil the back of it back on. Returning it unfortunately.

    Poor Quality
While the content of this planner was great the quality is unfortunately not very good. The first time opening the planner the cover came off and a few pages slipped out. Very disappointed and was hoping to be able to share this resource with clients.

    Worth the money
We are a family of six, four of which have ADHD and this little anti-planner has been so fun to try and dig into the roots of our production paralysis, motivation and overwhelm. It still takes self reflection and willingness to try new things that you think won’t help because “you’ve tried it all” and “that seems so simple” how can it help? Yet, the invitation to not try to change HOW your brain works, but work WITH how your brain is wired is so refreshing. Sometimes we just want it done without the work, but the Anti-Planner gives words to what you are really feeling and suggestions on how to move beyond that so the “work” is a personal decision you make rather than forced upon you.I also needed to contact them directly and had INCREDIBLE support and quick responses when trying to access pdf versions to print (available at a separate price) and would highly recommend.
