Does the timer turn off the alarm clock?
Nope, the timer just shuts off the sound and lights automatically once you set a time to go to sleep. It doesn’t turn off the device itself, so the alarm will still go off right on time the next day.

It’s Sufficient
I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the Hatch sound machine. I love that there’s Bluetooth connectivity, although at first it was a little glitchy and confusing to figure out how to connect. I love that I can assign colors to alarms, but I wish I could assign music from my phone to the alarm rather than one of the options from the app.

Overall, this is a very decent speaker for putting in a nursery (or really for anybody.) The sound quality is medium, but for a bedside speaker it’s very nice. Even without the app, you can play sound with the device itself using the buttons on the top. It connects via Bluetooth and can automatically sync the time once connected to your phone. The color can be adjusted or it can cycle between different ones creating a rainbow effect.You get more functionality by obtaining the app which is called White whisper. The box that the device comes in has a QR code you can scan. However, if using an Android and scanning the QR code, it takes you to a website that shows you an ad and I don’t recommend this this as the path for installation. Instead, just search up white whisper in the Play store for whatever device you have. Once installed, it should automatically find the speaker as long as it’s turned on. That’s when you will have access to a much more intuitive interface than just using the buttons on the top.There are 32 sounds in the app itself. What I thought was especially clever was that they included a couple of sounds that would help a baby sleep longer. One has a heartbeat effect and another has has whooshing noises similar to the womb. These likely would be very effective based on my personal experience with my kids when they were very young. The other sounds are a mix of nursery and nature. There are also brown, pink and white noise effects. Of course you can adjust the volume, the brightness level of the light set alarms and more.Overall, for all the options that you get for the price, it’s a great value. If I had to take anything off it would be fix the QR code so that it doesn’t just show you an ad for a cloud service when you navigate to it, but instead just takes you right to the app store link. However, I think this is easily solved on the users end, so I’m just going to review based on how it is to use once the app is installed.Overall, everything worked really well and was responsive. I especially like that they included a child lock feature in the app. As your child gets older and gets interested in the light, they might grab onto it and then if they press a bunch of buttons it will prevent them from changing the settings. This is a very nice feature to have and makes it even more suitable for young kids.I use it as an adult and I really like it. The White noise and other sounds do help me stay asleep. You can also stream your own content to it as it has Bluetooth so the options really are endless.It’s USB-C rechargeable and just has a simple on/off switch as well.I show the app and some of the features on the attached video, but overall I’d recommend it if considering it for a nursery speaker or even as an adult. Just looking for a simple bedtime speaker that could also function as an alarm and tell you the time.Disclosure: I received this item for free through the Amazon prime program.

sound mahcine and light
This sound mahcine with light does come with dirrections but the actual use of it does not seem to follow the dirrections. My daughter set this up in her room and she does enjoy it when she can get it to work but its not something that can be reliably used. It doesnt seem to keep time well and at this price point i think you could find something that works better.

Great for baby’s room, but app is finicky
I really like this for our baby’s room, as I can have soft music playing all night and a night light. The one thing that is frustrating, is the app won’t connect that well. I have to press it 15 times in hopes it will connect. It’s pretty simple with the choices, but works about 60% of the time. I can at least manually tap it to turn the light on and play the last music choice

Mildly disappointed
We love this for the light. There is only one song and the sound quality for Bluetooth was not what I expected. It doesn’t last a day alive and I am constantly keeping it on a charger.

All in one
This is a multifunctional nightlight, Bluetooth speaker, and alarm clock. I ordered this for my baby‘s nursery and I’ve enjoyed using it so far. I use it to play kids songs while she’s playing, and lullabies not only from Bluetooth but also from the integrated ones in the app. There’s tons of nature sounds and relaxing tones as well. The app is just ok and sometimes not very user friendly but it’s simple and intuitive for the main things. I like the different colored lights and I appreciate that the white light has 3 different brightness levels because it’s the color I use the most, while it’s not super bright even on the highest setting, it’s good enough. The bottons on top are a little hard to see but I mainly control the settings using the app. Overall, this is a good night light and speaker and I would recommend.

Night Light, Bluetooth, Sleep Music, Alarm Clock White Noise machine
I have been using a sound machine to aid my sleep for at least a decade, looking for a sound machine that has nature sounds. This sound machine has multiple options like alarm clock, light, music and a phone app…..but I didn’t really enjoy the sound quality and this maybe more suitable for a child with melody music etc. and I needed more nature sound choices and more bass tone.

NICE SOUND MACHINE
The white sound machine is nice to have for multiple color display, and 32 white noise sounds along with the capability to connect to Bluetooth and use it as a speaker for your music. The white noise machine speaker has multiple functions for setting light patterns sounds, alarms but the only setting that it lacks is the setting to adjust the brightness of the clock display and when using this as an alarm clock, the display is a little too bright. The description says that the clock is dimmable but nowhere in the instructions are there directions on how to dim the clock, that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The sound machine has nice clear nature sounds; relaxation sounds and Ambient sounds to help you relax or fall asleep. The volume, light along with sounds, alarms, etc. are controlled by the app or by the touch buttons on top of the sound machine. This sound machine is a great idea for a nursery, small child’s room or even an adult’s bedroom for a peaceful night’s sleep with sound and a light show.
