Feature Packed Scale with App Dependence
This is a sleek, modern scale that tracks a wide range of metrics. It’s easy to use for multiple people, and the platform is large enough to comfortably fit bigger feet. The weight readings seem accurate, and the ability to generate reports and share them is a nice bonus. It connects easily to the app, even without Apple devices, but most features require the app, the scale alone only shows basic weight. I also wasn’t a fan of the app requesting access to photos and videos, even if it’s for functionality.Overall, it offers a lot of features and good usability, but the reliance on the app and data permissions are worth considering.

The Scale My Wife Has Been Nag— I Mean Encouraging Me to Buy for 4 Months… and She Was Right.
After four months of my wife gently (read: relentlessly) reminding me to get a proper body‑composition scale, I finally caved and ordered this PGID model. And honestly? I should’ve listened sooner. This thing is accurate, easy to use, and makes me feel like I’m stepping onto a tiny futuristic medical device instead of a bathroom scale. The App Connects So Easily It Feels Like MagicThe app pairs instantly—no Bluetooth drama, no “try again later,” no ritual sacrifices to the tech gods. It’s clean, intuitive, and actually makes the data feel useful instead of overwhelming. Even my wife, who has zero patience for clunky apps, gave it the rare “this is actually good” approval.Accurate Enough to Make You Rethink That Midnight SnackThe readings are consistent and detailed. Weight, fat, muscle, water—this thing breaks down your body like it’s preparing a PowerPoint presentation. It’s the kind of accuracy that makes you go, “Huh… maybe I won’t eat that third cookie.”Sturdy Build Quality (Mostly)The scale itself feels solid and well‑made—no wobbling, no cheap plastic vibes. The handle bar, though?Let’s just say it has… personality. It works great once you get the hang of it, but the first few times feel like trying to perform a secret handshake with a robot. After a bit of practice, it becomes second nature—but there is a learning curve.Bonus: My Wife Is ThrilledThe moment she saw it, she said, “Finally!”And honestly, the peace that brought into my household is worth five stars alone.Final VerdictA sturdy, accurate, easy‑to‑use full‑body composition scale with a smooth, user‑friendly app.The handle bar takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out, the whole system works beautifully. Still absolutely a 5‑star product.

Total body weight readings!
This weighing scale is really awesome if you are trying to get healthier. The app was easy to download and at first I thought it was only suitable for one person to use but after a bit I realized that you can add multiple users to it. The only thing I can’t figure out is whether each person has to sign into their own app to get their personal information. The scale seems very accurate when I compare my weight to my previous scale. The information it gives out is very interesting and informative. It shows my weight, BMI, Body Fat%, Fat Mass, Fat free body weight, Muscle Mass, Muscle Rate, Skeletal Muscle, Bone Mass, Protein Mass, Water Weight, Subcutaneous Fat %, Visceral Fat, BMR and Obesity Level. The readings that are not “good” are indicated in red and those that are in the “good” or normal range are in green. If you are not sure what a reading means, you can click on the ^ arrow and it will give you a paragraph explaining what that reading means for you.You do have to hold the handle bar at a 45% angle if you want the scale to do all of the above readings. You can also leave the handle in place on the scale and use it as a regular weighing scale.

Was impossible to enter updated data. No more app-based scales!
App is a piece of junk. I purchased the PGID Smart Scale for purposes of tracking body fat percentage. When setting up the app I accidently entered 135 instead of my actual 200 lbs as my “target weight”, then ran a scan. I then spent the next hour trying to change the target weight to 200, and the app was not cooperating. I gave up and returned the item.

Smart Scale
This is a nice scale. It was fairly easy to set up–scan the QR code, download the app, and register. It connects via Bluetooth so you have to keep your Bluetooth on if you want notifications. It’s fairly slim/normal sized so it fits tucked away in my bathroom closet without issue. I like the handle bar that pulls up for more comprehensive readings. It does give an accurate weight, and I like that the app allows you to track your goals and progress. But, as others have said, the BMI reading isn’t totally accurate.I also cannot get it to send me notifications unless I manually open the app, regardless of Bluetooth status or push notification settings.Overall, the cost is a little high, I feel it’s a fair value for the cost if you will use all of the features compared to other models.
