This is how you should work out with convenience
Either you have to have a garage full of dumbbells or one really good pair of adjustable dumbbells. I recommend saving up and getting an adjustable pair while you’re saving up you might just have to stick with a small set of cheap dumbbells, but this is the goal. This is so convenient.

Some what bulky
1st off I have to say that I really do enjoy using these weights. The ease of weight selection is excellent. I have another set of adjustable dumbbells that have a turn style knob at the end of each side that can be a hassle sometimes. But these, you just twist the handle and you’re there. I was concerned about the handle twisting and dropping the weight plates while doing curls or other various lifts, but I haven’t had any issues with that at all. My only gripe is that these weights are a bit bulky. When doing dumbbell bench press it’s slightly more difficult to get a good stretch at the bottom because they hit my chest before I can get to the bottom portion of the lift. My other dumbbells are a 40 lb set and they are significantly more compact than these weights. You wouldn’t think and additional 12 lb would make a huge difference size wise, but apparently it does. Other than that I can’t find anything else to complain about. These are a good quality, highly versatile set to add to your home gym.

Lacking quality control!
Well they were great at first. After about the 4th to 5th workout with them the smallest weight in one dumbell started to fall out. The gap that holds it in is just too big. They only reason I think that I didn’t notice it when I first started using them is that I worked out with a different weight and once I added more weight it used that one that slips out. It’s a shame because these are fairly expensive, you would hope they would always work. The set is nice, twists and adjusts the weight easily. Has a great range of weight to use. But the quality is lacking and they can be dangerous to use if weights can fall out during a workout.

Be careful of your toes
I can’t get the weights to stay clicked in and they keep dropping out. It could be user error but I would hope it wouldn’t be that difficult to figure out for the price.

The handle adjustment operates flawlessly! The weights exit the tray without hanging up. These are a great addition to my workout.
