The electrical stimulation causes the muscles to contract, where you may not be able to natural contract. These contractions are what enables the muscle to begin rehabilitation and strengthening. Once strengthened, the process of sneezing, laughing and sudden movements will mean urine is no longer passed – leading to incontinence relief.
