I’m a very “senior” citizen and have been using this pretty much daily for 6 months in my coffee or on my breakfast and I am truly impressed! I’m back to walking daily. My joints don’t pop, or my muscles cramp. I try to go a little farther every week. I have nothing to brag about, yet, though my lower back pain muscle cramps have diminished because I am moving more thanks to this easy to digest product.The ingredients are clean and easily digested and I have noticed an overall improvement in diminished acid reflux. Adding this to my cereal or coffee is a bargain compared to physical therapy manipulations, though those are good for my post-polio syndrome. The effects are positive, and I am sleeping better with less stiffness in the morning.

Wow- this is at another level. I started taking this back in 2009 to avoid knee surgery, yep my orthopedic surgeon said there was a huge improvement on my knees. I did not share what l was taking, just went right along with life and no pain. This has also been a key factor on reducing my inflammation. I dropped 12 pounds not from being overweight but from inflammation. I love and swear by this product. It dissolves immediately with no noticeable taste. This is a staple for wellness in my home.

One star missing because it doesn’t mix as easily with a spoon as some other brands. (I don’t use a blender) But it is a truly great product! Fewer contaminants than other brands of you research those things. So i keep buying it… No sugar. No off putting taste. Can be stirred into a bowl of granola with a scoop of whey for a nice breakfast.

I’ve bought this twice. Makes my nails grow and stay stronger. It might be helping with joints, didn’t notice anything with hair or digestion. Actually yes I did with digestion. It does dissolve relatively quickly so that’s good. Plus 20 grams protein per use is good.

I have used this GL Collagen Hydrolysate supplement for a couple of years. I stopped briefly but went back to it. At first I had a marked increase in hair growth including my eyelashes. My skin which was suffering from too rapid weight loss and tanning (and a lack of good sense there) greatly improved as well. I stopped the supplement for several months and then decided to go back to it when perimenopause came outta nowhere and attacked. But this time I didn’t get the same boost in hair re-growth. Possibly because now I’m fighting the hormonal issues as well. I do however find that it still makes a very good and lovely difference in my skin’s texture. My skin just feels and looks softer and more hydrated when taking this supplement. I also notice a plumping of my wrinkled areas on my face so that’s absolutely awesome. I’m 50 and told I look 40. Imagine I could look 30 but for the aforementioned lapse in good judgment with the crazy weight loss and tanning. …Even so, this is a supplement that I want to continue on with but with the caveat that I find if I don’t take a day or two break from this every week or two and let too much build up in my system.. every now and then I will break out in hives…not a major case.. but still enough to be annoying and who wants to sit around rubbing and scratching the irritated areas. I never take more than 2 Tbsp ONCE a day ..never the 2 Tbsp TWICE a day reccomended dosage.. I’d be afraid to try that much.. though it may be the jumpstart my hair re-growth needs. I just started a regimen of Hair Anew by Naturenetics with this collagen.. so hoping for good things there.One final note on the GL Collagen Hydrolysate container. Seriously. This is the best y’all could do for a canister? 😐 I almost have no words there as it’s amazing such a good product could be purposely put into such a bad container. The pour spout is such a poor spout. It simply is aggravating at best. My tablespoons won’t fit into the small weird shaped opening. And even if they would my tablespoons do not have 10 inch handles so I would never be able to reach the bottom of the container once the product got low enough. Plus we like to SEE how much product we have left for such purposes as reordering. And when the product does get low enough you are forced to pour from that spout but then product gets all hung up in the part of the top that you can’t get to so you just have to shake the can and try to get it all out without spilling it everywhere. So here’s my tip and workaround which works wonderfully.. I use my can opener to open my canister just like any other can of food. Once the offending spout lid is removed from my GL canister, I have this wide open mouth can that is so easy to deal with and I simply use an OATMEAL CONTAINER lid to secure the GL canister. The large oatmeal containers do not work..too big. But the mid-size oatmeal lids are simply perfect. They are even clear lids which looks really nice without having to have another product’s logo on my collagen container. It’s a perfect workaround to a small issue with the GL product. I do love this supplement. Quality product. ….The people in the lid department notwithstanding.

This Collagen Peptide Protein Powder is affordable, and I can see & feel results 2 months in!
I use 2 scoops of unflavored Great Lakes Wellness grass-fed bovine collagen peptides powder every morning in my coffee, it dissolves quicky, really has no flavor! Almost 2 months of taking this and I can feel and see the difference in my skin and nails. I’m older woman, late 60’s and I am on a healthy diet plan, so this a perfect start to my daily routine. I also take glucosamine chondroitin so I’m not certain if this product has relieved pain in my joints and/or cartilage, but I’m moving much better and I’ve been able to do some stretching and strength training, with 30 minutes or more of a rock n roll dance “routine”. Last night’s sleep was 7.5 quality hours, which is a distinct improvement of over an hour extra sleep. I don’t have digestive issues, and the collagen powder hasn’t caused any, so all in all I’m ‘Subscribing and Saving’ this in the 2 lb container. Hint – there are 2 different kinds/labels of this collagen, and the more expensive one costs over $5 more per 1 lb. container because the label says “Dissolves 2x faster” – but if you’re putting it in your nice hot coffee or another hot drink, this less expensive “label” dissolves just fine and the product is exactly the SAME, so SAVE your MONEY – unless you use collagen powder in cold drinks.

Dont let low ratings fool you, i was worried too when i read those low rating reviews. But i still tried it because the collagen brand i was already using, still had some of the problems that were mentioned in the low rating reviews; a little smell, little grassy taste, and late dissolving so i thought what could go wrong but lucky me, this collagen literally solves all of the problem, i am literally amazed by how fast it dissolves, i m a late sleeper and late riser so i am always late for office, and when i am up, i want everything fast, this powder literally dissolves in seconds even in cool drinks/milk, no smell and taste at all. My problem for the collagen is literally solved. Don’t know how beneficial it is because its only been 2 days i’ve purchased this and i couldn’t wait to post a review.

This product is amazing. Hands down, best collagen product I’ve tried. With consistent use, it actually makes my face glow. Totally tasteless, so you can put it in anything, and the consistency is so fine that it doesn’t clump up like other collagen products can.

This is my 4th great lakes I have brought and I think this is absolutely a must try product, I have been taking this product for nearly a few months now and the benefits are a good result (for me) I take one table spoon in morning and one table spoon before bed in cold water… I have put a lot of research into this product and i know you can buy cheaper products out there but you never know if the powder comes from animals that have been grass fed naturally or fed with chemicals so I tend to stick with the positive research. I have noticed a lot of difference for example my nails are stronger and grow nicely but that works together with me not putting nail varnishes on my nails which contain harsh chemicals that actually ruin your nails and absorb into your body… also my hair has grown better and a little quicker meaning I am not Rapunzel but I have noticed a slight length 🙂 and feels stronger, my stylist can not believe that I have not had my hair trimmed within 7 months (usually I have it cut every time I have my roots done 6-8 weeks) and together with my hair I don’t used silicone/chemical based shampoo’s conditioners etc that again ruin your hair and absorb into your body. my skin feels a lot better and I must admit on the backs of my thighs I did start to get faint cellulite looking skin if you know what I mean and it has faded that a little but all in all this has worked well for me I know everybody is different but for me it is good, my boyfriend takes it too as he suffers with bad backs and when he got out of bed in the morning his feet ached when he stood up but he said this has helped his aches a lot for him. If you were to buy it I think just buy the one for now and see how you get on I don’t suffer with allergies to anything so I cant comment on any allergy based questions.. its not suitable for vegetarian’s as it does come from the bones of animals but each to their own I guess…. I have tried the red tub… I tend to put that with a herbal tea if I am in the mood to wait for it to dissolve but to be honest that tube is still in my cupboard 🙂 anyway that’s all I can think of for my review at the moment but if I can think of anything else I will put it in another review when I buy another.
